Stay Neighborly reflects Vrbo’s commitment to the benefits that short-term rentals provide homeowners, travelers, and the communities in which they are a part.

Vrbo is committed to educating our owners and travelers on a short-term rental’s responsibility to its community, and provide a communication portal to alert Vrbo to disruptive behavior.
What is Stay Neighborly, and how can I be a good neighbor?
We know you're committed to providing a great experience for travelers, but it's important not to forget about your community. We created a program called Stay Neighborly to help you nurture a strong relationship with those around you. Staying Neighborly means
Letting surrounding homes know you own or manage a vacation rental
Giving your neighbors a way to reach you in case of emergency
Knowing and following your local regulations and ordinances
Ensuring you have the correct licenses and tax reporting options. Check out Avalara MyLodge Tax for easy, stress-free tax compliance.
Setting up House Rules that inform your guest about local ordinances
Preventing house parties that will disturb your neighbors
Stay Neighborly Issue Form If you believe your neighbor’s property is listed on Vrbo and you have a concern regarding nuisance issues, we want to know.
Please use the link below to submit your concern. Our customer service team will review the submission. If the complaint matches a property on Vrbo, we will alert the owner to your concerns.
